Banja Luka sports clubs, Women’s Basketball Club Orlovi and Women’s Handball Club Borac have joined humanitarian efforts to help after the catastrophic floods in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

They have announced that all proceeds from their upcoming games will be donated to those who need help the most at this time.

„On behalf of KK Orlovi, we want to express our condolences to the families of the victims and hope that with the support of all humanitarian people they will overcome the disaster that has befallen them as soon as possible. In addition to allocating their own funds, all the proceeds from the game within the WABA league against Cinkarna Celje will be donated to those in need. Those who cannot attend the game are encouraged to call the humanitarian number 17039 and support the efforts to recover the flooded areas,“ said Orlovi.

ŽRK Borac will play a rematch duel of the EHF European Cup against Dalmatinka from Ploče on Saturday, and all proceeds will be donated for the treatment of Banja Luka resident Jelena Karajica and as aid to the flood-affected population.

„On Saturday we play for Jelena Karajica and the flood victims! All proceeds from the tickets sold will be donated for humanitarian purposes. Let’s fill the hall and gather aid that means a life to someone,“ said ŽRK Borac.
